Indian Successfully Launches PSLV-C23 With French Earth Observation Satellite- SPOT 7 and Four Other Co-passenger Satellites From SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota
The launch of ISRO’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle, PSLV-C23, scheduled on June 30, 2014 (Monday) from Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota has been successfully launched. The vehicle lift-off at 09:49 hrs IST.
PSLV-C23 carried 714 kg French Earth Observation Satellite SPOT-7 as the main payload. Also, the 14 kg AISAT of Germany, NLS7.1 (CAN-X4) & NLS7.2 (CAN-X5) of Canada each weighing 15 kg, and the 7 kg VELOX-1 of Singapore are being carried as co-passengers. These five satellites were launched under commercial arrangements that ANTRIX has entered with the respective foreign agencies.
