Live: Astronauts Travel To Earth

Three Expedition 39 crew members are set to undock their Soyuz spacecraft Tuesday from the International Space Station and return to Earth after 188 days in space.

Expedition 39 Commander Koichi Wakata of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, Flight Engineer Rick Mastracchio of NASA and Soyuz Commander Mikhail Tyurin of Roscosmos, the Russian Federal Space Agency, bid farewell to their station crewmates and closed the hatch to their Soyuz TMA-11M spacecraft docked to the Rassvet module at 3:26 p.m. EDT.
