Is “Make in India” the best ever campaign for India as a brand ?
After successfully putting across ideas in Davos on “Make in India”, Indian Prime Minister himself would be headed for Germany in April to pitch for “Make in India”.
In a bid to push the ‘Make in India’ initiative to the global level, Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government plans to pitch India as a manufacturing destination at the World International Fair in Germany’s Hannover, reported ET Now.
This does sounds like the biggest ever campaign after “Incredible India” to attract global travelers. “Make in India” is truly the heart and soul of new government in giving the required boost to economy and generating employment opportunities.
The National Sample Survey Office (NSSO) numbers for 2011-12 show that the unemployment rates for young male graduates in the 15-29 years age group in urban India was at 16.3%.
With 356 million 10-24 year-old’s, India has the world’s largest youth population and so is the problem of unemployment and the need to push for Make in India effort.
The world is looking to invest. There are not too many options which are more attractive than India. Whereas most competing economies are facing serious challenges, India is promising to accelerate its growth. Hope has revisited us – Arun Jaitley
